the Flying Yankee so that future generations can enjoy this beautiful piece of our country’s culture and history. Every dollar donated helps to return one of the few remaining Zephyrs to the American rails in New England.

MEMBERSHIP TIERS

Each membership tier includes different special benefits, yet all include the opportunity to be part of our volunteer restoration crew! Whether your skills are in mechanical or engineering, manual labor, electrical, HVAC, mathematical, clerical, or groundskeeping, we will have many, many various positions to fill and needs to complete to make this restoration a success.

  • The Minuteman

    Our $40/year basic membership includes:

    • The opportunity to join the Restoration team as a volunteer
    • Flying Yankee Newsletter
    • Email notices of News & Events prior to public release

    $40 - The Minuteman

  • The Minuteman (Family)

    Our $60/year family membership includes the same as the Minuteman tier, plus:

    • The opportunity for up to two (2) family members to join as Volunteers* on our Restoration team

  • The Cheshire

    Including the benefits of the Minuteman tier, this $100/year membership also includes:

    • Annual Flying Yankee special decal and/or bumper sticker
    • 10% off our online Gift Shop

    $100 - The Cheshire

  • The Mountaineer

    Including the benefits of the Minuteman and Cheshire tiers, this $250/year membership also includes:

    • One (1) Raffle Ticket for a special drawing at the end of each year
    • A commemorative t-shirt each year
    • 15% off our online Gift Shop
    • Ability to visit the Flying Yankee during regularly scheduled volunteer sessions (contact FYA to schedule your visit via our website).

  • The Flying Yankee

    Including the benefits of the Minuteman, Cheshire and Mountaineer tiers, this $500/year membership also includes:

    • A commemorative hat
    •Your name or family name displayed in our newsletter and on signs at our restoration shop events.
    • Your name (or family name) engraved on a granite brick on our restoration shop grounds (one time only)
